Protest against the killings of Tamil Fishermen by Srilankan Navy

Chennai:  More than 300 protesters arrested and released for Srilankan embassy protest  condemning the killing of innocent tamil fishermen. Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI)  demonstrated a blockade protest today 25.01.11 around 4.00pm at chennai Srilankan Embassy to condemn theact of killing the innocent fishermen and demanding the central government to safeguard the lives of the fishermen.
The protest was presided by the state President KKSM Dehlan Baqvi. In his condemning speech he demanded that Indian  government should act strictly against the Srilankan government immediately and take necessary  steps to safeguard the lives of innocent tamil fishermen.

More than 300 SDPI cadres participated in the protest, State Secretary Sathar, South Chennai District President  Hussuain, North Chennai  District President  Ameer, Thiruvallur  District President Jahir and Kanchipuram District Vice President K Md Mustafa were also present
